Collection of letters, 1892-1896, specifications, memorandums, and photographs dealing with the building of the "President's House" (908 W. Franklin St.),Includes short file on the buying of several horses, estimate on the Anderson House with plan of same. Majority of letters are from Griffith and Randall. Photographs are of light and gas fixtures only.

Prominent Richmond businessman of Allison and Addison, dealers in fertilizers. Vice-President of Conquest Tie and Lumber Co. Built house now owned by Virginia Commonwealth University and known as the "President's House."
