Content Description

An Asepto outfit includes several items contained within a simple wooden cylinder; there are no labels or type. Each container holds a cylindrical, transparent, glass vial, topped with a pronounced rim and embossed (bottom) with the words ASEPTO B-D SYRINGE. A small instructional pamphlet provides illustrations of the complete outfit. Both of items within this accessioning group are missing the tapering syringe and the squeeze bulb. The larger of the two is additionally missing a red rubber collar on the throat of the bottle. These artifacts are of two different sizes: the smaller is 4 5/8" tall and 1 1/4" in diameter, while the larger is 6" tall and 1 1/2" in diameter.
