John Mitchell Brooks collection of NAACP files
Robert P. Buford Papers
The collection consists of correspondence, reports, memoranda, minutes and plans concerning the negotiation of a water-sewer agreement between the City of Richmond and the County of Henrico and the working papers of the James River Port Study Task Force.
Melvin W. Burnett papers
The collection contains copies of materials on the history and government of Chesterfield County and some published materials. Photographs have been transferred to the University Photograph Collection.
Chris Burnside papers
The collection documents Chris Burnside's performances, 1981 to 2009. The collection contains reproductions of articles about Burnside and his work as well as video of thirty performances which have been digitized from various media storage formats. Other materials include flyers, posters, promotional pamphlets, exhibition books, and correspondence. Of particular note are items relating to a benediction that Burnside composed for the re-opening of the Grace Street Theater in 1996.
Sadie Heath Cabaniss Letters
The collection contains three items. The letter from Isabel Hampton Robb and the list of questions for the anatomy and physiology exam were written during her tenure as Superintendent of the Old Dominion Training School. Cabaniss wrote the letter to Mary Louise Spencer during her time on the Virginia State Board of Examiners of Nurses.

The Margaret Waller Freeman Cabell papers date from 1910 to 1982 and consist of papers and memorabilia from the activities of Cabell, James Branch Cabell, Ballard Hartwell Cabell, and other family members. The bulk of the collection contains correspondence between Margaret Freeman Cabell, James Branch Cabell, and their friends, colleagues, and business associates.
Capital Area Agency on Aging records
This collection contains materials created by the Capital Area Agency on Aging that document the agency’s operations, programs, and outreach activities. The majority of the collection consists of correspondence, minutes, and other documents generated by the agency’s committees. Also included are records concerning various service programs as well as reference materials.

Charles P. Cardwell, Jr. collection
This collection contains the personal papers of Charles P. Cardwell, Jr. when he served as president-elect, then president of the Virginia Hospital Association. The papers include annual reports, committee reports, policy proposals, as well as personal and professional correspondence from 1950-1953. The papers focus on issues like standardization of nursing education, hospital insurance consolidation and reform, hospital finances, and indigent patient care.

Martin P. Chworsky collection
The Martin P. Chworsky collection consists of excerpted articles in the area of human relations by various authors, certain of Dr. Chworsky's writings and lecture notes, and miscellaneous data and correspondence related to his years as director of the Albert M. Greenfield Center for Human Relations at the University of Pennsylvania. All materials are basically from the period 1957-1964 which coincides with his major period of publishing activity, 1955-1966.

The collection includes articles, correspondence and publications on various issues. The bulk of the material details the lawsuits against the FCC and Richmond area radio and television stations initiated by the Black Broadcasting Coalition (BBC) in the early 1970s.
Commonwealth Council of the Girl Scouts of Virginia records
Dr. James H. Conway medical ledger
The collection consists of a medical ledger book dated 1817-1822. It includes a listings of patients, services rendered, as well as payments received. There are several notations within the ledger by William Barksdale, who is the executor of Conway's estate. These notations concern settlements of accounts and occur as late as 1822.
William Lee Cosby papers
The collection consists of correspondence to and about Dr. Cosby, photographs of time in the Richmond Ambulance Corps and at the Medical College of Virginia, photographs of his family, a 1909 MCV commencement program and diploma seal, and newspaper clippings detailing Dr. Cosby's life on the Eastern Shore.

Billy DeBeck collection
The collection consists of Mr. DeBeck's library of 121 books, many with notes and sketches by the artist were transferred to book collection. A green door that has artwork by DeBeck depicting Barney Google and his racehorse, Spark Plug is part of the collection. A first day cover U.S. postage stamp of Barney Google was added in 2003. A second first day U.S. postage stamp was added in 2006.

The collection includes correspondences, reports, files and published materials dating from 1941 through 1977. The bulk of the collection dates from the 1950s through the mid 1970s and focuses on Mr. Edwards activities with the National and Virginia Municipal Leagues, the City of Richmond, the annexation of Chesterfield County.
